With the winds which we had last Monday, the water was being whipped up into a fury. As the cold lake water crashed over the observation pier at Bay Harbor it froze to the cold metal railings. The driving wind constantly shaping the direction of the icicle as they formed. These were nearly horizontal before the water started to succumb to gravity.
