Looks like someone has signed me up for a bit of jail time…

Someone out there has signed me up for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) LOCK UP charity program. I do not know who to thank for this little treat, as they are remaining anonymous; in time, my vengeance will find you. But anyways, this is a good cause and I am happy to participate in it. So here is the the information from the MDA concerning their fund raising program. I will be locked up on Sept 30th, and I will be making phone calls… MDA poster

Hello there!

I have some curious news to share. It seems that I’m going to be doing a little bit of time — behind bars.

Let that sink in for a minute — me, locked up, in the slammer — unthinkable!

I’m sure you want to know what I’ve done to wind up in this predicament. Well, here’s the whole truth:

I’m going “behind bars” to help defeat life-threatening muscle disease.

The 2015 Petoskey LU2015 – Greather Michigan District takes place on 09/30/2015, but I’m raising my bail before I go to jail!

The critical dollars raised will support MDA’s lifesaving mission to save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease. Together, we will:

  • fund treatments and cures;
  • provide life-enhancing programs like state-of-the-art clinics and support groups; and
  • send kids with muscle disease to MDA summer camp, where they’ll enjoy “the best week of the year,” having fun while gaining confidence and independence.

I need your help!

Please support me in this important mission by making a tax-deductible donation. Your gift will speed MDA’s progress in muscle disease research and care, and make a difference to children and adults living with muscle disease right here in our community.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sincerely,

Joe Clark
