In my weekly wondering I came upon stones frozen into clear ice on the Charlevoix beach to the west of the lighthouse. This area offers a view of the cement plant as well as a peaceful location to view the waves and boat traffic. The ice was rather slick, so I had to step from one patch of frozen stones to another. These are quite an amazing sight, that I had to do an hour long photographic study and may return again this week.
