The leaves are really starting to change this week in Maine. When we arrived this past Sunday there was question as to how much color we would be able to see this year. However in the past few days, the color has really started to pop. Yesterday we took a trip down to the Boothbay Harbor area, and on our return trip the light just started to get right as we drove north on the Yellow Head tipped peninsula. This is a small river which flows under 32.

Sadly our efforts to hike and explore the area have been hampered by various injuries to members of our group, mostly to Bear who recent surgery has left an incision and sutures which have not been coping well with his hyperactive lifestyle. There will be more to come from our last day’s exploration.
