McGulpin Point Lighthouse sits just to the west of Mackinaw City and to the north of The Headlands Dark Sky Park. The lighthouse is set back from the point a ways and up on a hill. It is owned and operated as a park by Emmet County and visitors are welcome to tour and climb up the stairs to the lamp room.
