Whitefish Point is one of the northern points of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. There are many shipwrecks nearby this remote lighthouse. The town of Paradise sits just to the south and Tequamenon Falls State Park just west of there. Whitefish Point is also home to a raptor observatory and an important stop along the way for migrating birds who will fly here to await good weather for the crossing into Canada.
