The tracks are all that remain of the busy train yard that existed in Pennsylvania Park in Downtown Petoskey. This rail line connected the town to downstate and continued onto Harbor Springs. Rail was a big part of life in the Petoskey area for many years with lines running between all the little towns in the area.
